Water, water everywhere across Saskatoon
A morning thunderstorm dumps lots of rain on the city

It didn't rain for very long, but a lot of water came down in Saskatoon during that very short time.
Many streets ended up flooded including the underpass at Circle Drive and Idylwyld Drive north. There are reports of the power going out in some areas, including the North Industrial and Lawson Heights.
The rain was not kind to Saskatoon's Blairemore Wal-Mart.
By the time the storm had passed, the floor in the bakery, meat, and produce sections was covered in about a half inch of water. The store remained open as staff mopped up.
No official word on what happened.
One elderly woman pushing her shopping cart through the produce section joked maybe she "should have brought her swim suit."
