UPDATE: Alcohol a factor in rear-end collision on Lewvan
Police responded to a collision around noon Saturday

Traffic was backed up on the Lewvan after a rear-end collision Saturday afternoon.
A black car hit a red SUV around noon at the intersection of Dewdney avenue and Lewvan.
The woman driving the SUV was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man driving the car was arrested and is being charged with impaired driving.
The scene was cleaned up by 1 p.m.
