Severe thunderstorm warnings in Saskatchewan

After briefly putting up tornado warnings for parts of southwestern Saskatchewan, Environment Canada quickly downgraded the warnings back to severe thunderstorms around 8 p.m. Thursday.

Severe thunderstorm warnings issued Thursday afternoon

Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued around 4 p.m. for areas along the Alberta border including Kindersley, Brock, Flaxcombe, Milton, Alsask, Marengo, Eatonia, mantario, Gluidden and Madison

Environment Canada says larger hail and damaging winds can be expected as well.

This is a warning that severe thunderstorms are imminent or occurring in these regions. Remember that some severe thunderstorms produce tornadoes.
