Saskatoon police have two men in custody after a diamond ring and car were stolen on Wednesday.
Police say the incident occured when a man in his 50's returned to a downtown jewelry store he had visited before along with a cohort in his 40's to steal a ring he had been examining.
Police said the keys to the car, along with other personal items, were stolen from a locker at a fitness centre down the street just minutes before the ring was taken.
The two were arrested later when RCMP stopped a car near Craik, and the thieves now face a number of theft charges.
