Saskatoon police are issuing their yearly reminder about Halloween safety.
Alyson Edwards with police services stresses communication between parents and kids, especially if kids are going out alone.
“Parents should know the route their kids are taking,” said Edwards.
“Kids should be trick-or-treating in pairs or in a group.”
Edwards says trick-or-treaters should wait until they get home to eat their candy, especially if it is homemade.
