Saskatchewan dodged a bullet when it comes to winter storms.

People in southeast Manitoba are digging out from a dump of snow and thousands don't have electricity.

John Paul Cragg with Environment Canada says we could see some flurries this Thanksgiving. The snow, however, won’t stick around.

“Overnight, Sunday night, you might see some flurries but mostly it will come in showers,” he said.

“Besides it falling from the sky, you won’t notice anything.”

It will be sunny but not the warmest weekend, says Cragg. Highs around the province will hover around 10 degrees.

“Over the next seven days it doesn’t like it is going to get warm. It looks like we are going to be below the normal,” said Cragg.
