Scarth street mall was more sporty than usual on Sunday.
Five Hole for Food stopped in Regina to play a game of street hockey.
Organizers ask anyone who wants to play in the game to bring a donation for their local food bank.
Richard Loat is the founder of Five Hole for Food. He thinks combining a giving spirit with a national pastime is beneficial to all involved.
"Canadians love hockey, and the giving experience is one that's sometimes alienating if you just give," said Loat.
Loat's goal is to raise one hundred thousand pounds of food. Five Hole for Food is travelling to 13 Canadian cities over 19 days.
