RCMP say alcohol is believed to be a factor in a fatal weekend crash that took the life of a 53-year-old Prince Albert man.

Ben Darchuk, owner of Ben's Auto Glass, was killed Sunday in a head-on crash on Highway 2 near the White Star turnoff.

Police said the second driver, a 21-year-old man, has since been treated and released from hospital. His name has not been released.

RCMP is continuing to investigate the collision. At this time no charges have been laid.

The funeral for Ben Darchuck will be held Monday at the Art Hauser Centre.
