Police seek driver of red truck after nine-year-old approached
Police are on the lookout for a red, two-door pickup truck after the man driving stopped to talk to a nine-year-old girl delivering fliers.
On Aug. 1 the man stopped his truck in the 200 block of Sherry Crescent stopped to talk to the girl at about 4:15 p.m.
He remained inside the truck, while attempting to engage her in conversation. The girl ran to another part of the street, where a friend was also delivering fliers. Together they ran home to report the incident to family and police. When they ran away, the truck also left the area.
The suspicious man is described as about 20 to 40 years old with tanned skin. His hair was styled in a mohawk or faux hawk, dyed blue on one side and brown on the other.
