Police charge man in connection to Broadway murder
A second degree murder charge has been laid in the stabbing of Nicolaas Smith

Saskatoon police have arrested a 46-year-old man in connection to the Broadway Avenue stabbing.
Police said the accused was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 300 block of Second Avenue South and has been charged with the second degree murder of Nicolaas Smith.
Smith was found unresponsive by police in his Broadway Avenue Apartment last Friday around 3 a.m. An autopsy report shows the 29-year-old died from a stab wound.
The accused will be in court on Friday at 9:30 a.m.
