PHOTOS: Breaking down the cost of going to the Queen City Ex
The Queen City Ex is in full swing, with all kinds of things happening until Sunday.
It's also a hot spot for families to spend some time together, but just how much will it actually cost to head down to Evraz Place and take it all in?
First of all, to even get on the grounds it will cost you $12 per kid, and $15 per adult, but as you're well aware the costs don't end there. Each ride will cost roughly $5 a piece , but you can also buy a pass for $44 dollars. That will get you in the gate, and unlimited rides.
We all know that there's more to the Ex than just the rides, there's also the food, and considering some of the concoctions , that's not cheap either, running up to about $20 a meal.
All in all, it could cost $77 person, with the average family of four shelling out over $200, but that didn't seem to bother some of of the families at the fair.
"It's definitely an expensive outing," said one woman who was there with her four kids. "But it's worth it, it's a great family day."
