A local Saskatoon family has made a donation to the Remai Art Gallery of Saskatchewan.

Kay and Dora Nasser, along with their family, have come forward with a $150,000 contribution.

"Saskatoon is our community," said Kay Nasser in a news release. "It's one of the best in Canada and the world. We donate where we can, because Saskatoon needs all these organizations to be one of the best."

The $71-million dollar gallery is scheduled to open in 2015 at River Landing.
