A man is dead after a collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck.

Lloydminster RCMP were called to the collision on Highway 16 near Marshall at approximately 6 p.m. Sunday. 

The man driving the motorcycle was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.  The driver of the pickup wasn't hurt.

The collision shut down a section of the Yellowhead Highway for about five hours.
