Explosion reported at Spectra Energy propane terminal
There are reports of an explosion at the Spectra Energy propane terminal about a mile outside of Regina.
Jason Cyr, who works at the Sauteaux Junction gas station near the terminal, said he saw the commotion.
"I was outside pumping gas and I heard like a thunder crack almost," he said.
"I felt the boom in my chest and I turned around and I looked. I saw debris falling from the sky. I went to go get a closer look and there was a dark plumb of smoke there."
"It was big, like I never felt an explosion like that before,"
A building at the back of the Spectra lot looks as though the roof was blown off, but there's been no confirmation of the events just yet.
"It was nothing we ever seen out there before, it was kind of cool and kind of scary," Cyr said.
