Driver dead at scene of submerged vehicle

One person is dead after their vehicle hit a slough north of Saskatoon.
The Saskatoon Fire and Protective Services Water Rescue Team was called to the scene approximately three kilometres north of Waldheim on Highway 312 before 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Eyewitnesses saw the vehicle enter a ditch filled with about eight feet of water.
Divers pulled a single body from the vehicle. The victim's identity hasn't been released.
No one else was injured.
Police called a traffic reconstructionist to the scene.
Waldheim is about 60 kms north of Saskatoon.
