Pats Fight Off Tigers
The Regina Pats are looking to start climbing the standings with a five-game home stand and it started out with a back and forth battle with the Medicine Hat Tigers.
Three unanswered goals in the third period ended up sealing the victory for the Pats, who ended up winning 7-4.
The Pats gave up three leads along the way, giving up a 2-0 lead in the first, a 3-2 lead in the second and a 4-3 lead in the third before Brett Leffler, Jordan Eberle and Garrett Mitchell pulled the Pats away from the Tigers mid-way through the third period.
The Pats will welcome the Saskatoon Blades to the Brandt Centre for the second game of the home stand on Friday night.
Eberle continued his hot play scoring a goal and two assists for a total of 28 points in his first 13 games.
