New Posting For Saskatoon Bishop
Moving to Manitoba
Saskatoon's Catholic Diocese is in line for a new Bishop.
Pope Benedict XVI has named Albert LeGatt as Archbishop of Saint-Boniface in Manitoba. LeGatt replaces Emilius Goulet who retires this year.
Bishop LeGatt was ordained a priest in 1983 for the Diocese of Prince Albert. He was appointed the sixth Bishop of Saskatoon on July 26, 2001. He will remain in Saskatoon until the end of August.
A replacement has not been named.
