Exploring The Science Behind "Angels & Demons"

An opportunity to learn about the Physics behind the hit movie "Angels & Demons" without having to wait for the DVD special features.

Four physics professors from the University of Saskatchewan who will be discussing the physics of antimatter during a public lecture Wednesday night.

Professor of physics and engineering physics Tom Steele says the lecture is meant to be entertaining so people can expect movie clips, demonstrations and lots of interaction.

"The release of this movie has encouraged peole to ask questions about the fundamental nature of matter and the universe," said Steele.  "We are excited to talk with the people in our community about particle physics and the research work we do at the U of S."

The lecture will be held at Holy Cross High School in Saskatoon at 8pm.  Admission is free.
