Regina Police SWAT team were on scene Friday afternoon to a house in north central, near Scott Collegiate.

It follows a tip that two men went into a home with guns.

Tear gas was evenutally used to enter, but spokesperson Elizabeth Popowich admits there were some surprising results inside...the house was empty.

Nearby schools nearby were informed about what was going, but students were able to leave as usual without incident.

It is not clear whether the initial call was a hoax, or that that two left before police arrived.
