Regina About to Welcome Agribition Visitors

Final Preparations for 38th Agribition at Evraz Place
Story Tools

It brings more than 100 thousand visitors to Regina.

The 38th Canadian Western Agribition gets into high gear Monday at Regina's Evraz Place. There are a couple of events this weekend.

A big turnout is expected; the barns and trade show are full. But general manager Jason Pollock admits the number of entries is down a bit from last year. He chalks it up partly to a lack of available farm labour.

Organizers say Agribition pumps more than 16 million dollars into the provincial economy, 12 million of that just in the Regina-Moose Jaw area.
