NHL central scouting released its first list of draft eligible players today in all 3 Canadian junior leagues and European prospects. The top ranked WHL skater is Saskatoon's Jared Cowen who is a defenceman for the Spokane Chiefs. Regina Pats forward Garrett Mitchell is ranked 17th. Teammate Damien Ketlo is ranked 3rd amongst goaltenders. All three players mentioned will be on the ice Wednesday night in Regina when the Pats take on the defending Memorial Cup champs from Spokane in a 7 o'clock start. It will be Regina's last home game until December 12 as they head out on a road trip that will take them through the BC division.
