52-year-old Albert Joseph Delaire is charged with 11 counts of fraud over $5,000, two under $5,000, and a count of forgery. Police accuse Delaire of committing the fraud while he was minister of Health for the Metis Nation of Saskatchewan, and chair of the MACSI board.

67-year-old Henry Joseph Cummings is a former board secretary. RCMP say he's charged with six counts of fraud over $5,000.

Both men are from Saskatoon. They're scheduled to make their first court appearance December 15th. Police have not given the total amount of money involved. The fraud is alleged to have happened between 2001 and 2004.
