Saying Goodbye

Riders Clean Out Locker Room
Story Tools

Its something the Saskatchewan Roughriders knew they had to do but they would have liked to do it in two weeks instead of now. The football team gathered for one last time to clean out their lockers and say goodbye to one another after a season that ended Saturday night at the hands of the BC Lions in the Western semi-final. Many players were asked about the move last night to put Michael Bishop on waivers while many others including coach Ken Miller were asked to reflect on the season. To hear from Miller and several players, go to the Green Zone for their comments.

Thanks.

Firstly I would like to thank the Riders for yet another "GREAT" year of football.
To end a season with a 12-6 record consideribg all the adversities that had to face,& overcome, which they did, says that all involved did more than an "AWESOME JOB".
No one knows what would have hapened had they not had to overcome all the injuries they had,on both sides of the ball.

I guess if there was a bright side to all the injuries they had, they now know what kind of so called back up players thay have.

I, & most all RIDER FANS are looking foreword to anothe great season in 09.

"GO-GETTEM-RIDERS".
