Grey Cup Sign To Remain

Can never take away the 2007 win
Story Tools

The Grey Cup dreams may be over for the Rider nation, but the evidence of past success still exists.

Namely the Championship sign that was put up on the Trans-Canada as drivers entered Saskatchewan.

So fans may still be mourning the loss, but they can always cross the Saskatchewan-Manitoba border at highway one to see the evidence of last year's win.

The sign can remain in the future as it specifies Saskatchewan is the home of the 2007 Grey Cup Champions, but the Government's Reg Downs says there is an upside, they team will always be the 2007 Grey Cup champs, although he doesn't think the sign can stay forever.

But if Edmonton can remain the city of champions, some would argue we can savour the 2007 win just a little bit longer.
