Record Breaking Temps
Several communities feel the heat
Records are falling in a handful of communities across the province, as some unusually warm weather makes an appearance today.
Saskatoon's record high of 17.3 degrees set on this date in 1977 has been broken.
Regina has been flirting with a very old record of 20.6 degrees, set in 1887.
A new record was set in Estevan with 20.7 degrees. The old record - just last year at 20.6.
Weyburn reached 22.3 degrees. Two degrees higher than the old record set in 1996.
Bob Cormier with Environment Canada says you can thank a broad ridge of high pressure for the pleasant conditions.
