No Rider Gets Recognized For Week 1 Play

Despite maybe being the most impressive team in the CFL in Week 1, no Rider was named a player of the week. The league going with Montreal's Anthony Calvillo and Damon Duval along with the Toronto combo of Willie Middlebrooks and Mike O'Shea.

On July 2nd, 2008 Anonymous (not verified) says:

Apparently betting the lowly Esks does not shower respect on the Riders.
Winning the Grey Cup did not do much in the way of respect neither, so
there should not be any surprise.
