A forest fire the size of the city of Prince Albert continues to trek toward a northern Saskatchewan community.

Several lightning strikes Friday sparked the blaze which, as of June 10th, was less than 8-kilometers from the community of Uranium City and has forced most of it's residents to flee.

Sask. Environment's Janette Krayetski says a warm, dry forecast over the next couple days is a concern.
