I felt alot like Wayne Gretzky when he left Edmonton while I was trying to think of what to write about this week. I promised my self that I would NOT do two Olympic related blogs, just like Gretz "promised Mess" that he wouldn't cry, but I just couldn't shy away from all the awesomeness that has come out of Vancouver over the last couple of weeks.
Alright, I know I always say I like to focus on the feel good, happy stories in sports, but with the Olympics going on right now, I decided to write a blog about my favorite Olympic moments, and after looking at the list, I noticed that there were more negative stories, than positive.
So, on that note, ladies and gentleman, I give to you "Gary's List Of Radcially Awesome/Are You Freaking Kidding Me, Really? Wow! ........ Olympic Moments."

So apparently there is some sort of hockey tournament going on right now? Ahhhhhh, Super Bowl Sunday, the one time of year, when I get to see all my old friends, and talk about how the year has treated us. Stories are shared, predictions are made, and great times are had by all.
I have a lawyer friend, one of my best friends actually (I highly recommend finding one as well!), who has hosted a Super Bowl Party at his parents house for as long as I can remember. He is now lawyer-ing in Regina, but still hosts the party at his parents house, and thanks to Mur and Shur, allowing us to continue this great tradition, that is where I will be on Sunday.
So the Alex Burrows/Ron Maclean fued is officially over. It all began with accusations made by the Canucks forward, stating referee Stephan Auger told him before a game " You made me look bad, so I am going to get you back tonight." Then Ron Maclean fired back, saying all kinds of things about Burrows. The back and forth went for awhile, eventually leading to the Canucks, last week, refusing to do any interviews during a Hockey Night In Canada broadcast. Well yesterday, the CBC and the Canucks Organization buried the hatched, and are moving on.
