He’s a small town Saskatchewan boy with a big voice. They must make them bigger in Biggar because Gerald has developed into one of the finest newscasters in the province. He also brings his extensive knowledge of agriculture to the airwaves across Saskatchewan.
This past winter he flooded his neighbourhood street when his backyard rink sprung a leak. Like Walter Gretzky before him, he feels it is his duty as a father to give his three sons the hockey experience and the memories of skating on the backyard rink that Dad built every year.
We know he is a lefthander on the golf course and a pretty good one too when he plays enough rounds. As for the rest of his life, Gerald keeps pretty much to himself.
