5:30 p.m. Saskatoon woman Waheeda Afridi has been in Pakistan for the past four years waiting for the federal government to let her bring her adoptive son home. She is living in the war-torn region of Peshawar, where a Taliban attack on a school yesterday left 148 people dead, 132 of them children.  She is 5 kilometres away from the scene and says it has been chaos there.
 
5:45 p.m. An extremely proud grandfather attended a Christmas concert last night! David shares some of his grandson’s performance.
