6:15 – The mayor of a Montreal bedroom community who was enjoying a weekend in the country has died of anaphylactic shock after wasps attacked her with repeated stings after she stepped on a wasp nest.  What happens when we get stung and why do some people have such harsh reactions to wasp venom? Dr. Paul Keith, President of the Canadian Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology joins Brent.

7:38 – STARS has unveiled its newest helicopter, an AW139 gifted from Potash Corp. STARS Executive Director Rod Gantefoer talks about the range with the new helicopter and the success rate of the program in Saskatchewan.

Kevin Schwing, Director, Distribution Network with Sask Power talks about tracking the origin of the outage and finding its cause so repairs can start as quickly as possible.

Malaysian Flight 17- which was shot down over Eastern Ukraine on Thursday was carrying over 100 researchers on their way to Melbourne. CKOM News and Program Director Angela HIll joins Brent from the conference.

8:15 – Eleven suicides in the last ten weeks have been reported withing Canada's police, EMS and correctional organizations. Tema Conter Memorial Trust was launced in the wake of many suicides and work-related PTSD of Canada's military and public safety organizations to help first responders and their families dealing with PTSD and mental illness. The TEMA Heroes are Human awareness tour wrapped on Friday in Toronto after cross the country.
