Rocketman lands, wows the crowd.
Pop royalty arrived in Saskatchewan on Monday as Sir Elton John rocked a packed house at Credit Union Centre. It is the first of three shows in the province.
Among the highlights of the night -- the rousing entry of Sir Elton during Funeral for a Friend / Love Lies Bleeding, the whole-crowd sing along during Crocodile Rock, and a magnificent re-entry on to the stage for his encore, where EJ proceeded to sign autographs for the entire front row (as seen in the photo) before heading back to his piano to crank out Pinball Wizard and Your Song.
A fantastic night for fans and those just curious about the Elton John phenomenon.
