I'm hitting the summer-wall these days.  I made the mistake of taking my holidays early - late June/early July. I don't think I'll do that again. 

My grandmother passed away peacefully earlier this week.  I've been thinking about her alot, specifically about how hardworking and generous she was.

For me, this is a no-brainer.  I'd take invisibility in a heartbeat - think of the things you could do, or more importantly, the places you could sneak into!  The events you'd witness, the conversations you'd hear...the whole world would become a playground for a deviant like myself. 

That being said, plenty of people go for the ability to fly, citing unlimited fun, adventure and freedom. 

So Barenaked Ladies frontman Steven Page is facing drug charges in New York state after officials found him in close quarters with marijuana and cocaine.  So much for spending his million dollars on not-real fur coats and Kraft Dinner.

But...big deal, right - a musician and blow?  Hardly surprising.

Well it is to me, given that my son is addicted (pardon the pun) to BNL's latest album entitled Snacktime, a children's album which pretty much cemented the band's uber-clean image.

We asked this question on JGL this morning, and the reaction was mixed.  Before I had kids, I would have answered 'no'.  Now that I have kids, and having seen how much fun they have at weddings, I'm not so sure.

After a week in Waskesiu and a crazy day yesterday trying to organize the even crazier upcoming week, I'm back to blogging.

As I'm sure you've heard by now, the Gormley Show is going to be broadcasting live from CTV's 'Corner Gas' this Thursday, July 10th.  I am so ridiculously excited.  We're the only media outlet that Corner Gas has agreed to do a project of this type with while they are shooting their final season, we'll have exclusive access to each and every cast member.
