The other day, Gormley and I were musing over what the hot topic would be on October 15th if we are facing a mirror-reflection government - Dion leading the Opposition, and Harper leading a minority government.

Our answer has become obvious...we're going to be talking leadership.  

If Stephen Harper cannot pull off an ass-kicking of monumental proportions - a landslide of a majority - the knives will come out and the Liberal party won't be the only party with leadership up for grabs.    

I don't know if it's because of my job, because I'm genuinely interested in being well-informed, or because I have no life - regardless, I'm pretty pumped for tonight's televised debates.

This is 'real' reality television, complete with strategy, manipulation, judgment, backstabbing and undoubtedly, a whole lot of lying.

Unless you live under a rock, you've heard about the beer-can-hurling debaucle at Mosaic Stadium on Saturday night.

It all started when BC's Dante Marsh appeared to grab Rider receiver Corey Grant's facemask, causing him to fumble the ball - which Marsh recovered.  No penalty was called. 

Marsh then trotted over to BC's bench and allegedly threw the recovered ball into the stands, taunting Rider fans.  Nice. 

Note - My blogging record over the last few weeks has been deplorable.  I don't have a good excuse, besides needing to fish my time management skills out of the toilet and get on with it.  So here goes with the getting on with it...

Surprise, surprise. 

Last week we watched Georgia, USA residents Matthew Whitton and Ricky Dyer triumphantly reveal to the world their frozen Bigfoot corpse.  Well actually, they revealed their story of how they found a frozen Bigfoot corpse, not an actual corpse.  Regardless, Whitton and Dyer insisted that they had it and we were all going to be sorry if we doubted them. 

I wanted to believe, I really did.
