Animal rights activists in Britain stepped in to save Buffy the chicken after she lost her feathers. One version is that the other chickens were pecking her. They took her back to the animal rescue centre, where a volunteer knitted her a 'jumper' and she's now toasty warm and enjoying life; as much as chickens are capable of sentient thought.
Enjoy Buffy....the Colonel is waiting.

where did we cross the line
where did we cross the line from proctecting animal rights to interfiering with the natural order of life. there is a pecking order people, typically a bird that is getting pecked at dies and the natural order of life is maintained. i think we personify animals far too much these days.

I really don't see a problem with it. Sometimes in life you're down and getting kicked around, everyone needs a helping hand. Animal or Human. Where's your compassion people!!
