--Is there any better place to be in Canada than being in the vicinity of the building that sits on Piffles Taylor way on game day???

--If they can call the Bell Centre in Montreal "the phonebooth" and if they can call Air Canada Centre in Toronto "the hangar", can we refer to Mosaic Stadium (Taylor Field)as "The Potash Pit"

--Its just one week but can someone let the Hamilton Tiger-Cats know that its about time they became competitive again. Their performance against Montreal was absolutely putrid

--I think there are many people around this country and in this province who will be eating a lot of crow when it comes to talk of the Riders this year. This is not a team that will finish 4th in the West and win 7 games or less as many are suggesting.

--The end of June is just about upon us and the Cubs are still the best team in baseball. Then again, the Tampa Bay Rays or the Tampa Bay Morrisons as I call them are only a half game behind Boston in the American League East.

--Speaking of Wray Morrison, two things. 1) How big is his man-crush on Chris Cuthbert ??? and 2) He could be confused for a younger version of ABC's NBA play by play man Mike Breen!!!

--Justin Gimelstob is an idiot!!! For those who don't know who Justin Gimelstob is and why I think he's an idiot. Do a google search and see what he said this week.

--NHL free agency starts Tuesday and I don't know why but I think Jose Theodore would be a great fit for the Oilers.

--A question for NHL commissioner Gary Bettman. The question is How can the league that couldn't survive with an average salary of $1.8 million in 2004 be thriving with an average salary that will top $2 million in the coming season? I think owners should be taking a serious look at how much longer they can have this man in control of the league.

--How long is one supposed to stay at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. One could spend the entire day there if one wanted to. It makes me wonder how long it would take me to go through the baseball hall of fame in Cooperstown or the football hall of fame in Canton.

--I would love to see the guys that call soccer games for Euro 2008 call NHL hockey games. The dialogue would be utterly fantastic!!!
