Who am I to question Eric Tillman???
The Kokanee "Should the Ranger Live or Die" promotion has come to an end with an outstanding commercial. If you haven't seen it click on the link....

Now on this steamy 30 plus degree day, I think I need a couple of ice cold Kokanee. Stay cool everyone!!!
--One week over and Canada has indeed put the "O" in Olympics!!!
--If Canada's athletes pull the disappearing act in Vancouver like they have in Beijing, I can't imagine what will be said or written
--Can I somehow blame Rob Vanstones presence in Beijing for the lack of medals. Those pep talks arent working. By the way, I have thoroughly enjoyed his work in the Leader-Post this week as he stumbles through the Summer Games.
--Did anyone from the Riders get seriously injured during their one week break
The euphoria that the Rider Nation is feeling in the wake of the football team's performance in 2008 has been silenced somewhat after one of the more horrible days for the organization in recent memory. It was bad enough to hear Matt Dominguez's football career is likely over after he suffered yet another major knee injury---his 3rd since becoming a Rider and it got worse upon hearing Ron Lancaster is about to fight a battle with lung cancer. Dominguez is one of the current greats and I don't have to tell you what Ronnie means to Rider fans. Both men have a battle in front of them.
--OK this injury thing must stop. This has gone beyond ridiculous.
--Do you agree with me when I say CFL officiating director Tom Higgins must identify the official who said Ja Juan Armour should be disqualified from Saturday's game and publicly announce his punishment.
--I don't care if the Riders finish 6-12(which they won't), Ken Miller is the coach of the year. You can't argue with what he is doing.
--Do you have any excitement for the Beijing Olympics. I don't. Yeah I'm more of a Winter Olympics type guy
Riders offensive lineman Gene Makowsky is writing a blog for Sportsnet this year and his latest entry is bang on. Read for yourself.http://www.sportsnet.ca/football/cfl/blogs/2008/08/04/makowsky_blog/
The mission was clear. Could I visit the Buffalo Days Exhibition in Regina Saturday night without finding out the score of the Riders game so I could watch it on peace when I got home. I knew the chances were slim but I had to try. My lovely wife Tracey and I have gone to the exhibition on the Saturday night since we first started going out. In fact, I proposed to her after walking up and down the midway a number of times a few years ago. I digress. I set the timer on the TV to record the game crossed my fingers and left for the Ex around 4.
