There's a reason why the union representing registered nurses in the province of Saskatchewan chose the name they did...
SURN sounds angry.
SUN sounds happy.
How can you disagree with the word SUN?
Like the unionesque term "working people" (because non-unionized folks like you and I don't "work", I guess), the use of words by SUN bother me.
There are two sentences from the Emma Lake weekend stories that jump out and burn my eyeballs.
Kids were also throwing rocks at police, one officer was hit in the face. RCMP Sergeant Carol Raymond says the person who threw it wasn't caught.
Oh... how perfect.
Why is it that every time there's a May long weekend in Saskatchewan, my faith in parents being proper moral compasses for their spawn is diminished so greatly?
