This is off-topic, but I don't know how to send Mr. Gormley an e-mail, I can't find a "contact us" key on the website so I am getting my point to him this way. I have a small problem with how this Dion campaign to promote his Green Shift issue is turning out. I see Dion as a bit of a fool, but not that much of one. I think he's trying to fox us all. The over-riding response to his less than inspiring western speaking tour is "how fast can we separate?". If this continues who do you think is going to lose the most, come next election? Every vote for a western separatist party is a vote lost to the Conservatives. Let's be real, if that happens it won't be the separatist party winning the election, it will be Mr. Dion, smelling like a rose after successfully dividing the country, as Liberal leaders have been doing forever. Ask yourself if you'd like to see that moron in the big chair, and please don't support anyone else but the one person who can stop that from happenning - Harper. Thinking anything else is a dream. Even if all the stars come together, the west won't separate until after a few more terms of Liberal govt, a reality I would gladly miss out on, thank yew verra much! Remember, the more grease under a western separatist movement the more Dion wins!

Interesting idea, Western Separation... but IF Dion wins, maybe there are some other ideas we can look at. "My way or the highway" is a phrase that comes to mind. Forget about shifting the tax burden from East to West... try lowering the royalty rate to make up the difference the feds charge - then charge it back to them as 'Inter-Provincial Tariffs'... I'm sure there are other ideas out there... like maybe we won't sell any of our oil to Ontario & Quebec unless they give us a fair shake. Maybe a "Tripple E Senate" before we turn on the taps. Not to mention - where do they get their Uranium for Souther Ontario's electrical needs... and where do they get their wheat & other grains like barley. THAT's it!!! No Barley for the Easterners! See how long they'll go without a beer!
