I am so sick of the freaking Olympics talk, it reminds me of that Adam Sandler/Chris Farley skit, with the Zagats food guide, you can see the skit here.

(I like to put pictures into all my blogs to make them look longer, kind of like double spacing essays in high school.  The twins are Bia and Branca Feres from Brazil, they are synchronized swimming twins, The other gal is USA softball hottie Jennie Finch, all three are competing in Beijing right now, I can pay attention to these gals.)

So basically everything I have heard about the Olympics, have been the same stories and questions over and over again. It has driven me to the point of insanity. It's like the stories and questions are Beverly (Farley), and I am Hank (Sandler). I actually found my self saying " Day and night she talks! Each word more useless than the next! " and that led me to this crazy comparison.

No medals yet for Canada???!!! " Holy Canoli!!!" The Chinese pulled a Milli Vanilli " Ohhhh, Hear that Hank?" Everyone has to boycott the Olympics! "so come on down ya'll, ya hear! " Are you making the comparison yet? You have to watch the skit to understand this, but basically, I am just sitting here, like Adam Sandler in the skit, and wondering why I am still hearing the same crap, over and over, and begging for it to end!

(And for the ladies, here's Christiano Ronaldo, and Rafael Nadal, both are also competing at these boring Olympics.)

So how do I feel about the Olmypics? When they first started, I was excited, now, after a week, not so much. I get that the Games are a really big deal right now, and I get that all the scandals are real juicy, and everyone wants to state their opinion, I get all of that. But it has been almost a week since the Olympiad started, and the same old stories are being recycled more than head coaches in the NHL.

I would probably be really happy and excited to watch the games, but thanks to all the same old talk, I find my self watching Jays games and SNL skits instead.
