Except when I stay out at the cabin in Regina Beach and commute from there – like this morning – then it’s about a 50 minute drive (I tend to go pretty slow until I hit the main highway – this count this morning was 2 deer and a couple of foxes).
When I’m facing the shorter run, I don’t bother to make coffee in the morning at home – I just grab some when I hit work – all in all, about a 1 hour gap from the time I get up until my first sip. A little different when I’m at RB.
I’ll make coffee using the timer on the machine. I wake up to a hot cup of coffee and then have one in my travel mug on the way in. End result – a couple of cups down the hatch by the time I get here.
Wow. There’s something about actually being alert when I start work. I have all this extra time – everything is done, and I have time to blog. Of course, avoiding wildlife on the drive in may have something to do with my “awakeness” – either way – good morning!
Buzzing gently… Dave

Hey Dave, I live at the Beach too and it only takes me about 35 minutes to get to the East end of Regina. You must still be site seeing on your way in. Any how, nice to see you at the Beach.
Comment heard this morning
Around 7:30 this morning,(July 9) I believe I heard a comment regarding a professional sports organization being somewhat frustrated because they were not receiving credit for "giving back to the community". Hundreds of people "give back to the community" everyday with very little if any fanfare. My understanding of doing community work and helping when needed is given in a spirit of unselfishness and kindness.
I sincerely hope that I have misunderstood the comment this morning as I know many professional athletes are truly sincere and have contributed tremendously to their communities.
Thank you.

Well, if I were in your place I wouldn't be angry at all because it is something different to drive on a street where you can see wild animals then driving in a crowded city full of pollution. So, you shouldn't complain at all.
