Chatting with John Gormley the other day, I realized he had it right.  With a potential Federal election call this week and the ongoing US election campaign – it really is like have the Grey Cup and the Superbowl within the space of a month.

Not everyone is as geeky about politics.  I understand this.  I, however, am.

A blood sport, without the blood.  A chess match without fixed moves.  The art of war.

Granted, there will be spin, hyperbole and just plain misinformation along the way.  It’s trying to figure out which is which that is half the fun.

Both elections could mean a significant change in direction for the countries involved.  Or it could just be more of the same…  Either way, gotta watch.
