A brutal electoral result means he would probably never survive a mandatory leadership review at a later date.
It may be time for the Liberal Party, as a whole, to take that long walk in the snow. It’s time to regroup, refocus, refinance and redefine what it means to be a Liberal in Canada.
And before The Prime Minister gets his glow on by watching the spectacle – this was THE opportunity for the Conservatives to gain a majority – and they didn’t. I’m not saying he should take the walk – but he might want to sweep the snow off the front porch somewhere along the way.
