Darryl Sittler will be the special guest at the first Pink Warrior Classic at the Spiritwood Golf Course on Friday August 8th. Its organized by Kelly Gatzke, whose wife Fiona is battling breast cancer. The field is about half full, they will even allow Hab fans to enter.

She says they are showing up all over Regina.What a crazy looking insect!! Well...a number of listeners emailed, then Rick VanDuyvendyk at Dutch Growers called to tell us the gross looking insect is a Ladybug larvae..the before picture of a cute ladybug we all like to see.
A few years back, Pat Boone came out with a heavy metal album, and that was just downright funny hearing the sappy crooner sing the likes of Smoke on the Water, Stairway to Heaven and You've got another Thing coming. But this...this is totally different. This is why people throw themselves off buildings..this is why tough guys like Tony Soprano see a shrink...this is why our civilization, like the great Roman Empire, is sliding down the slippery slope to oblivion.
Ahh..free enterprise...its a wonderful thing...except when it comes to concert tickets. Tickets for Elton Johns September 15th concert in Saskatoon go on sale thru Ticketmaster at 10 this morning. So why is it that at 6 this morning, I go to a number of ticket broker sites, and they already have numerous EJ seats in CUC available...at greatly inflated prices.
