This is typical Liberal

This is typical Liberal Policy - they haven't got a clue? Boshcoff, like Dion transfer of wealth from the producing provinces to Ontario and Quebec to buy votes. Nothing more, nothing less.

green shaft

Just listened to Boshcoff going around in circles trying desperately to sound as though the lieberanos actually have a plan, other than burning down the west to create massive "social programs to guarantee votes in Ontario and Quebec" Thank god Dion has chosen this "green hill" to die on as a western taxpayer I think it is time to get a lot uglier with these thievs and carpetbaggers.
cheers Bubba

This clown says it's good

This clown says it's good for the environment?
So why are the planning on taxing diesel fuel instead of gasoline when gasoline powered vehicles produce more C02 than diesel powered vehicles?
Their promise of some economic benefits from this Red Shaft are the equivalent of taking the milk cow to market and trading it for some magic green beans.

Boshcoff kept saying "I

Boshcoff kept saying "I don't necessarily believe"

Well neither do I, the green shaft is an outrage.

Gormley said more in three

Gormley said more in three sentences than this clown did in 10 minutes.

Good Grief!

Good Grief!

I can't believe this guy is

I can't believe this guy is so delusional to call the West "polluters". Has he ever seen the cloud of pollutants hanging over the "golden horseshoe"? By the way, has anyone noticed how quiet Ralph Goodale has been lately?

1. When people say "$9B in

1. When people say "$9B in tax credits", it's tax credits, not tax cuts. It probably comes out of the bottom end of income tax, so the government only loses $9B * 17% which is about $2B. So that leaves $13B out of $15B.

2. Why do people keep asking the government to centrally plan environmental solutions? Here we have John Gormley wanting the government to spend our tax dollars on "solutions". I say NO! Give the money back to the people and let them decide how they want to spend it.

they say

they say the end user will pay for it
does not Ontario and Quebec have more vehicles than the west.so in that thinking will they pay more of the tax
is this much like Tony Blairs(yes Tony still belongs to a party but not a MP) man Gordon Brown Greenshift, 200 billion of redesigning energy and society

and yes we out west want to pollute anytime anyamount till whenever

This explains the Dion Green

This explains the Dion Green Shaft Plan.

Too bad ken Bosh Boscoff doesn't have any brains to figure this out.

This was written by a construction worker in Fort MacMurray- he sure makes
a lot of sense to me!

I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my
taxes as it sees fit. In order to earn that pay cheque, I work on a rig site
for a FortMac construction project. I am required to pass a random urine test,
with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution
of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have
to pass a urine test to get a welfare cheque because I have to pass one to earn
it for them? Please understand -- I have no problem with helping people get
back on their feet. I do on the other hand have a problem with helping someone
sit on their ass drinking beer and smoking dope. Could you imagine how much
money the provinces would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a
public assistance cheque? Please pass this along if you agree or simply delete
if you don't. Hope you will pass it along though, because something has to
change in this country, and soon !!!
